VR-Xterminator is a VR-Arcade-Indie-Shooter from Since Idea GmbH, which was realized with Unreal Engine 4. In it’s core, the gameplay is based on the arcade classic Centipede, but stands out due to its porting into a 360° VR-Environment and innovative interaction approaches. The entire game is completely designed and optimized for Virtual Reality. The player uses real motion to move around, aim, reload the weapon, or control power-ups. Therefore the tracking capabilities of HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are fully explored.
