This project was realized on commission of fsp Architekten AG for the Swissbau Innovation Lab 2018. The aim was to combine a 3D visualisation of the child and youth psychiatric centre Königsfelden, Winisch with gamification content. The main focus should be experiencing and discovering the environment. The 3D model of the building was created on the basis of pictures, floor plans and reference models (CAD) of the facility. The application was developed with Unreal Engine 4.
At the start of the application, the entire scene is rendered completely in white and without silhouettes. Throwing black color bombs allows the user to gradually color the building, making obstacles, passageways, doors and hints visible. On his way through the building the user has to collect letters for a code word, which he needs to get through a secret passage to his destination, where he can sign in a virtual guestbook.
